Jerseys:
Teams are required to supply their own jerseys. The minimum standard currently is that each players must have the same base color jersey or shirt with an individual number (no tape). If two teams have the same color jersey color at a game, the league has pennies that the team may borrow for free (must leave collateral, ex. drivers licence, cell phone, etc.). If players show up without the minimum requirements the player must: buy a shirt at the league office, rent a jersey/pennie if we can supply the same color, or the entire set of pennies will need to be worn.

Mandatory Equipment:
WE HIGHKY RECOMMEND HELMETS WITH FULL FACAIL PROTECTION TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES
The minimum requirements for men's adult ball hockey ages 18yrs and up must wear a proper jersey, no wood bladed sticks (except goalies), and protective gloves; ball hockey, lacrosse, or ice hockey gloves. BUT the OBHL highly recommends players wear: shin pads, soft elbow pads, jock/jill strap, and a helmet. If players choose not to wear a helmet we recommend protective safety glasses be worn.

Equipment for Sale:

The OBHL has D-Gel and Mylec Ball Hockey equipment for sale, with the best prices around. We highly recommend all players wear shin pads, as they protect against normal hacks and whacks when players are going for the ball.

Team Rosters:
-Teams must submit a roster prior to the league making up its divisions.
-Players can be added to the team's roster after the start of the season BUT it added players must be approved with the league prior to game day.
-All players must be registered before they go on the rink. Players must play a minimum of 30% of the regular season to qualify for playoffs.
-Players that are not registered prior to playing, games may result in a game forfeit, the team rep may be suspended.

New Teams:
book your free hour rink rental and the league will observe and then recommend the division(s) to start out in.
